Following a year of continuous growth, the City Of Leeds Basketball Foundation has a number of exciting opportunities for young and experienced coaches alike ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The 2022/23 season will see the City Of Leeds Basketball programme active in both Senior and Junior National League, and Regional competition with up to 18 teams competing across the programme.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for the sport, who wish to develop their coaching in multiple settings; these include our extensive community programme, as well as our development and performance squads.
We have paid full-time, paid part-time and voluntary positions available for an immediate start across our programme.
COLBF Director Matt Newby is excited by the growth of the programme this summer:
"The 2022/23 season saw participation numbers continue to soar at City Of Leeds, with a successful year of development across our National league teams, capacity increases across our community sessions, and an extensive programme of schools delivery taking place across the region. We expect the organisation to continue to grow heading in to the 2023/23 season and to meet this increased demand while maintaining the high standard of coaching that we offer, the development of aspiring young coaches is integral to this mission. We look forward to creating opportunities for people to get involved, educated and mentored as they join our programme ahead of another exciting year."
To apply, please send an expression of interest along with an up-to-date CV to Director Matt Newby at m.newby@cityofleedsbasketballclub.co.uk
