Katie's COLBC Story

Katie is a Basketball England Level 3 coach and an All Girls Ambassador for the National Governing body.

Katie graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a BSC in Sports Coaching and started her basketball journey with our Leeds programme. 

She currently works in Primary education at Alwoodley Primary School, where she works as a sports specialist, managing, developing and delivering physical education within the school.

She has consistently been involved in the regional performance pathway, working with both Yorkshire representative sides, and within the NGB’s Aspire programme. 

Furthermore, she has travelled to a number of countries delivering sports and education initiatives. These include South Africa and China and she was a lead coach for our exchange programme with PAS Giannena in Greece.
